EDBO – Early Dutch Books Online

EDBO – Early Dutch Books Online geeft full-text toegang tot meer dan twee miljoen bladzijden in 10.000 boeken uit het Nederlandse taalgebied uit de periode 1781-1800. Het project is een samenwerkingsverband van de Koninklijke Bibliotheek en de universiteitsbibliotheken van Amsterdam en Leiden. Boeken uit de Bijzondere Collecties van deze bibliotheken zijn gedigitaliseerd en op woordniveau doorzoekbaar gemaakt.

EDBO – Early Dutch Books Online gives full-text access to more than 2 million pages in 10,000 books from the Dutch-speaking region from the period 1781-1800. The project is a collaboration between the Royal Library of the Netherlands and the university libraries of Amsterdam and Leiden. Books from the Special Collections of these libraries have been digitized and made available on word level via this website.

Springer e-books trial

Tot en met december 2011 heeft de K.U.Leuven een trialtoegang via SpingerLink tot alle Engelstalige boeken die de uitgeverij Springer gepubliceerd heeft in de periode 2005-2010. Het gaat in totaal om ruim 17.000 boeken, waarvan een gedeelte ook relevant is voor Letteren, in de eerste plaats voor taalkundigen. Ook de andere disciplines (AKM, geschiedenis, taal- en regiostudies) kunnen hier hun wetenschappelijke gading vinden.

K.U.Leuven has now trial access via SpingerLink to all e-books written in English and published by Springer in the period 2005-2010. This e-books collection contains over 17,000 publications and is important to all research fields within our faculty, especially to linguistics.

Een volledige lijst van deze tijdschriften vind je hier.

Brepols Online Archive

K.U.Leuven heeft het Brepols Online Archive aangekocht. Dit betekent dat voortaan heel wat belangrijke Brepols-tijdschriften elektronisch doorzoekbaar én raadpleegbaar zijn via Brepols Online.  Sommige tijdschriften behoren niet tot dit archief, maar zijn wel doorzoekbaar op het niveau van de full text. Met behulp van Librilinks kan je dan de gedrukte versie lokaliseren.

BPO – British Periodicals Online

K.U.Leuven heeft voortaan toegang tot BPO – British Periodicals Online. Deze databank ontsluit de de full text van 460 tijdschriften over de Britse literatuur, geschiedenis, politiek en kunst uit vooral de 18de en 19de eeuw. BPO is ook raadpleegbaar in combinatie met de meer algemene archiefcollectie PAO – Periodicals Archive Online.

De aankoop van BPO werd mogelijk gemaakt door het Fonds P. Druwé, die tot doel heeft de studie van de Britse auteur Anthony Trollope (1815-1882) te bevorderen. Een snelle zoekactie naar deze Victoriaanse romanschrijver levert alvast een slordige 15.000 zoekresultaten op, waarvan 261 als auteur.

NML – Naxos Music Library

K.U.Leuven heeft nu via streaming toegang tot NML – Naxos Music Library, d.w.z.  ruim 46.000 cd’s of ruim 653.000 tracks uit het repertoire van de klassieke muziek, jazz en wereldmuziek. Maandelijks komen er 800 nieuwe cd’s bij.  Bevat ook de mogelijkheid tot het bijhouden van een eigen Student / Member Playlist.

NML – Naxos Music Library offers streaming access for K.U.Leuven to more than 46,000 CDs with more than 653,000 tracks, standard and rare repertoire. Over 800 new CDs are added to the library every month. The library offers the complete Naxos and Marco Polo catalogues plus the complete catalogues or selected titles from over 250 classical, jazz and world music labels with more labels joining every month.

BJO – Brepols Journals Online ontsluit de full-text van een 40-tal tijdschriften van de gelijknamige uitgever, vaak vanaf de oudste jaargang. De meest recente jaargang wordt meestal nog niet online aangeboden. Je kan voor een beperkt aantal tijdschriften de full text niet alleen opzoeken, maar ook bekijken. Voor de artikels waarvoor we (nog) geen online toegang hebben, kan je de LibriLinks-knop gebruiken.

BJO – Brepols Journals Online contains the full text of about 40 journals of Brepols Publishers, starting from the very first issue, but often without the most recent issue. You can either access the electronic version as a PDF-document or use the LibriLinks-button to search for printed versions in the libraries.

getty2De Digitale Bibliotheek Letteren is uitgebreid met de BHA/IBA – Bibliography of the History of Art / International Bibliography of Art (vrij toegankelijk via Getty Web).

De BHA/IBA – Bibliography of the History of Art / International Bibliography of Art omvat zowel de BHA (periode 1990-2007) als de IBA (vanaf 2008). Wordt nog in 2010 aangevuld met de voorloper van BHA, nl. RILA – Répertoire de la littérature de l’art (periode 1975-1989).

The BHA/IBA – Bibliography of the History of Art / International Bibliography of Art includes both BHA (covering 1990-2007) and the International Bibliography of Art (IBA), covering the years 2008 and part of 2009. The Répertoire de la littérature de l’art (RILA), one of the predecessors of BHA, with records that cover 1975-1989, will be online soon.
