Vanaf het academiejaar 2011-2012 gelden er binnen de Universiteitsbibliotheek nieuwe tarieven voor de IBL-dienstverlening. De prijszetting werd sterk vereenvoudigd en is voortaan hetzelfde overheen alle IBL-centrales van de bibliotheek. Meer info: http://bib.kuleuven.be/praktisch/ibl/tarieven.htm.
De hernieuwde versie van onze bibliotheekwebsite staat nu online. Het belangrijkste verschil is het aanbieden van LIMO als centrale zoekinterface voor K.U.Leuven en bijgevolg ook het verdwijnen van de link naar de LIBIS-catalogus. Voor trouwe LIBISnet-gebruikers zal het even wennen zijn, maar wie snel een boek wil opsporen in de bibliotheek, kan voortaan gebruik maken van de LIMO-zoekfunctie en de zoekresultaten beperken met de optie ‘Toon enkel boeken’. De snelzoekfunctie in de toolbar beschikt eveneens over deze zoekoptie.
Ook de nieuwe versie van onze tutorial informatievaardigheden voor academiejaar 2011-2012 staat nu online. De belangrijkste vernieuwingen zijn:
- zoeken in LIMO (module 3)
- activeren van verschillende soorten van attenderingen (module 4)
- verwijzen naar informatiebronnen in tekst/voetnoot en in literatuurlijst (module 6)
- weergave van ‘Mijn Traject’ in de vorm van een PDF-bestand.
De website is terug online en raadpleegbaar op de nieuwe URL, namelijk http://bib.arts.kuleuven.be/bibliotheek. Met onze excuses voor het ongemak.
Wegens een misgelopen update is onze website tijdelijk niet bereikbaar geweest. EDBO – Early Dutch Books Online geeft full-text toegang tot meer dan twee miljoen bladzijden in 10.000 boeken uit het Nederlandse taalgebied uit de periode 1781-1800. Het project is een samenwerkingsverband van de Koninklijke Bibliotheek en de universiteitsbibliotheken van Amsterdam en Leiden. Boeken uit de Bijzondere Collecties van deze bibliotheken zijn gedigitaliseerd en op woordniveau doorzoekbaar gemaakt.

EDBO – Early Dutch Books Online gives full-text access to more than 2 million pages in 10,000 books from the Dutch-speaking region from the period 1781-1800. The project is a collaboration between the Royal Library of the Netherlands and the university libraries of Amsterdam and Leiden. Books from the Special Collections of these libraries have been digitized and made available on word level via this website.
